Epro, a leading UK healthcare informatics provider, has been awarded onto the Commercial Procurement Services‘ National Framework Agreement for Legacy Information Integration and Management.
The framework agreement is designed to mitigate the challenges trusts face in migrating from a patient administration system to an electronic patient records system or move from one EPR to another.
Under the framework, NHS trusts will be able to procure Epro’s unified Digital Health Platform, which provides users with access to clinical patient data that underpins everything from pharmacy solutions to bed management, ePMA to clinical correspondence and speech recognition.
Founded in 2003 by NHS clinician Dr Adam Towler with a vision to improve the quality of consultations and decision-making by providing better information at the point of care, Epro offer over 30 proven clinical software applications, scalable interoperability services and a low-code, open data forms environment working directly with clinicians and IT staff alike in a mobile-first, cloud-first, data-driven environment.

Led by the Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust’s Commercial Procurement Services on behalf of any NHS trust, the framework came from a recognition of the accessibility issues many NHS organisations face in dealing with legacy applications and data; thus, creating the new framework agreement to enable trusts to purchase cloud-based or on-site solutions and services to help overcome these issues.
